아포방포 (APOBANGPO)
Means “ARMY Forever, Bangtan Forever”, also abbreviated as AFBF.
아포방포 is the shortened version of “아미 포에버, 방탄 포에버.” It’s a phrase created by Jungkook during one of his fancafe chats with ARMY in 2019.
Apobangpo is a fediverse home for BTS ARMY and KPop Fans.
The Apobangpo.Space Mastodon server was opened in November 2022. Since then, we’ve welcomed many ARMY and Kpop fans, building a small but tight-knit community that is kind and inclusive.
In February 2025, we started experimenting with a PixelFed server to support community members who like to focus on image sharing.
We aim to continue exploring alternative social spaces online, with a focus on decentralised, federated alternatives to big tech.

OHhai! I’m PixelCats aka Jo – Admin/Facilitator of Apobangpo
Back in 2022, as the BirdApp got weirder and weirder, I started exploring Mastodon and other open source social spaces. The more I learnt, the more I thought ARMY should have a purple space in the Fediverse … and so, here we are!
I feel so lucky to be part of creating this space and look forward to welcoming even more members to both our Mastodon and Pixelfed servers.
Please Note: This is still an experiment. I am just an ARMY with some nerd skills and a big purple dream. There will be some bangs and crashes while we figure it out together. Your patience and kindness is really appreciated. Thanks to everyone who has been so encouraging!
About Me: My background is in EdTech, Web Design, Virtual Worlds, Games and Facilitation. I have run games servers and virtual worlds servers for many years, and work with schools and universities to discover and implement digital technologies. I am also a Dog and Cat Mama, Toy Maker and obsessively ARMY-Carat-Moa!
